We didn’t really believe she was that good. We just didn’t know, I guess. She kept telling us that there was another side to her, but, I’m talking about my mom, here. Who would have imagined what amazing stuff she could do with a bass guitar? Apparently, without our knowing it, my mom got picked up by a group of women musicians who want desperately to be known as the best female group at a concert coming up. We haven’t seen as much of Mom, lately. She has been practicing every evening and on weekends. I say, “Go for it!” Everyone should have a right to pursue her dreams. But, seriously, who would have thought this was Mom’s dream!
