There are a fair number of movies that are filmed at least in part in the Boston area, and my husband has stumbled his way into being part of the crowd for a couple of these movies, and also run into people that can let him know when more movies are going to be needing extras. One time his connection actually got him an acting audition for a movie, and he had a great time. For the first round he had to prove he could ice skate, and he had lots of funny stories about the tryouts and the things that happened there. The second audition was where they had to read lines, and he didn’t make it past this one. But he did have an enjoyable experience he would love to repeat!
