My friends and family keep suggesting to me that I would be really suited to a career in finance. I was always quite good at numbers at school but never really thought about working with them in a job. The thing is I am not really sure how to go about getting a job in finance. I currently work in a bookshop, which I have been doing for the last few years since leaving school. I have done a bit of research and found out that there are a number of formal finance qualifications that I could take but they are quite expensive so I don’t really want to start one with out knowing that is the right thing to study. I have signed up with a number of recruitment agencies in Ireland, to see if I can get an entry level job in finance before to get a taste of the work and then go from there.
