It will not be enough to just read through an article and hope that you find the information you are looking for.  When a person goes looking for something, they want to know that when they are finished looking, they have discovered what they were seeking for.  With anchor text, you are presenting the reader with the option of finding the location they are looking for with a great clue.  They will not have to guess any more.  They will know, usually by the color or the word or the line under it, that they have arrived at the place of disclosure.
