I just got back from the music store, and I called all of my friends to tell them the news. The music store that we purchase our guitar strings is holding a drawing. When you buy a guitar or guitar accessories, you can ebter to win 1000 guitar licks. Can you believe it? 1000 guitar licks. I can’t believe they’re giving away that many free guitar licks! That’s a lot. I made sure to enter. That’s a lot of music, especially for someone like me who cannot afford to buy that much.

Rocket Japanese Review

Friday, April 11th, 2008

So, from my perspective, if I was not motivated in college to learn a relatively easy language like Spanish what was the likelihood of my grandson learning to speak a more complex language like Japanese a Rocket Japanese Review? Because he was so adamant about learning the Japanese language, I decided to give him a Pimsleur Japanese Basic course. I was certain that after a couple of lessons he would quickly lose interest. Better yet, I would see if he was really serious and have him pay for the course. It was only about $20.

Mr. Pollack

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

I wonder if Mr. Pollack’s wife ever said, “we need to take dance lessons Sydney“. I wonder if in his entire career in the film industry if lessons ever came in handy. I am sure that somewhere in his filming of Tootsie he was able to direct Dustin Hoffman accordingly by teaching him the Tango or a West Coast Swing move. Maybe when Dustin was flipping on his stockings a former move by the director helped him in not snagging the hose. Then, if his wife had directed him to take lessons, I wonder if she received proper credit on the film.

One of the most difficult decisions you have to make when you buy art is its price. Original contemporary art for sale is available from many artists and its price ranges between $60 to $600 and more. It is only after you gain experience by shopping and bargaining for different pieces of art will you be able to mark the right price for a piece of art.

Some of the most reasonable investments will be in art forms made from ceramic, glass, metal sculptures and paintings. As glass art is very famous amongst buyers and artists, you will find many bargains in this form of art.

When I decided to get a tattoo, I wanted something that I loved. Afterall, tattoos are permanent, and I would have it forever. I wanted something original. I looked for designs on the internet, and I visited several tattoo studios. I wanted something that nobody else had. I combined several ideas into one and came up with my own design. I did that for each of the tattoos that I got. I came up with my own tattoo designs, so I know I have unique tattoos that no one else will ever have.

In buying any item, it is necessary that you inspect the whole product thoroughly prior to your purchase. Here are some things that you need to check when buying antique dolls:

Inspect if the antique doll’s head have any signs of restoration like dark patches and damage. Using a light will help you to easily identify any restoration work and even hairline cracks.Check if the eyes have been reset, these areas should be informed and should be a factor in decreasing the price of the doll.Check the integrity and aptness of the antique doll’s outfit. Finally, evaluate the overall appearance of the antique dolls. Lack of knowledge regarding essential qualities of antique dolls may lead you to purchasing a fake and not an original collector’s item.

The typical Iowa native

Monday, March 17th, 2008

I try and vacation in at least two states each year, I think that gives me a better appreciation of what different people are like. On my Iowa vacation this year I am going people hunting, searching for the Iowan that most exemplifies what a true Iowan is. From my research it will likely be an older person that grew up on a farm and knows how to spit. They are likely to have a rather dry sense of humor and will deliver their punch lines with a straight face. The face will be well weathered and probably wrinkled. It will be a kind giving person too.

Rocket German Review Online

Saturday, March 15th, 2008

So I planned on meeting up with him and hoped to spend much of my time with him at my side. Knowing that he had actually taken the time to learn the language and was prepared was something that i counted on. I was a bit distressed to find out he had a big conference that week that seemed to spring up at the last minute. So it left me alone most of the time I was there with this Rocket German Review. Which was fine with me, I had a bunch of exciting things lined up to do. As the days went by I grew increasingly frustrated by my limited knowledge of the German language. My communications with the local people were short and impersonal. I found myself listening to their dialogue and only grasping a small amount of content.

Iowa vacations mean camping

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

On many of my Iowa vacations I have gone camping, you see to me camping is one of my favorite things to do. I have camped in many sites across the state all the way from the ones where there is electricity and water at the site to the ones where I’ve just pitched my tent alongside a river and spent all night fishing. The most fun trips though are the ones where you run into old friends. There is nothing like sitting around the campfire telling stories to some good companions and listening to the ones that they have to tell.
