I am a career counselor at a high school, and I frequently encounter questions from students regarding educational requirements for occupational therapy jobs. In answer to this question the educational requirements are as follows: A Master’s Degree in the field and six months of supervised field work. Good courses to take in high school are chemistry, physics, health, art, biology and social sciences. Good majors for undergrads include: biology, sociology, psychology, anthropology, liberal arts and anatomy. If you are interested in entering this career field, engage in some research to find out more about available schools and degrees you can earn.
