Putting chandelier lamps in the significant areas of your house makes for significant makeover in one click.  That one click can adorn elegance and class into your home.  That one click though is merely clicking the switch to the light bulb.  Or something like that.  In choosing for the right chandelier lamps, try to give utmost importance to its light bulbs.Chandelier lamps have multiple bulbs and tend to shed a lot of light.  The amount of illumination that you will need for the dining room will be based upon this formula:  Length X Width X 1.5.  If a room is 12 X 15, then you will need roughly bulbs that produce a combined total of 270 watts.  A chandelier with 6-40 Watt bulbs will most likely provide adequate illumination, especially if complemented by wall sconces, buffet lamps, or other light fixtures.
