I never truly understood the appeal of wall to wall carpeting. Sure, it looks good for a while but there is no getting away from the wear on heavily trafficked areas. It can ruin a wall to wall carpet. I’ve always liked using area rugs used on top of laminate flooring. That way the rug can be turned to avoid wear areas and laminate flooring is super easy care and durable. We have Trafficmaster laminate flooring throughout the entire first floor of our home. It was a great investment. It’s durable and care free. We used Trafficmaster Classic Oak laminate flooring and it looks fabulous.
