When we decided to remodel the kitchen, we decided to make it a green home remodeling project. There are many products out there that can make a difference in saving the Earth’s resources. We picked appliances that save energy while still performing perfectly. We used eco-friendly counter tops that look smart and used less resources in its manufacturing process. We made certain our windows were as efficient as possible so no heated or cooled air slipped away, resulting in higher heating and air-conditioning costs. We also made it a point to use environmentally safe paint and not just for the Earth’s sake. Healthier paint makes for better, safer, and cleaner indoor air quality.
