I have always enjoyed laying outside in the summer and looking up at the stars trying to find the different constellations. I want to get my kids interested in astronomy, so I was thinking maybe we should get an inexpensive telescope, since they are always excited about gadgets. Should I buy one a telescope for kids, or a regular telescope that we would have to watch them much more carefully with. I don’t know how good the telescopes for kids are, but I wouldn’t want to spend the money on one if it was just a cheap toy and didn’t really work very well.
