There are two types of dog fences available on the market today, electric dog fence and above ground fence. Until about the 1970’s your only option was the traditional above ground fence, thanks to technology, you now have the option of the more popular electric dog fence. You can choose between underground, wireless, or indoor radio fences. Installation for these fences is relatively easy and most systems come with excellent directions, and installation can be completed in a few hours. You can do it yourself, or if you don’t feel comfortable with that, there are many professionals that will install them for you, but professional installation can get quite pricey.
