An analog to digital TV converter box is small little box that you hook up to your analog TV to make it pick up digital television signals.  These little boxes will pick up a digital television signals and then converter them so that they are compatible with your analog TV.  TV converter boxes are about the size of your average novel and hook up to your TV in about 1 minute.  They are very basic and easy to use.  They usually come with a remote of some sort.  Many would say that the operate kind of like a cable box and I would agree that this is true.
