Money saving tip for the day – all those who are going abroad for a holiday or (lucky them) going travelling around the globe should take care to get the best currency exchange rates when they purchase currency. OK – there are two things to remember. Number 1, always make sure you have some local currency in cash to take this abroad. Buy this online so you can compare rates and get delivery to your door. Number 2 – instead of taking a standard banking card abroad; order a foreign currency fx card online. You need to do this a week or two in advance, but you will avoid all the extortionate fees and poor commission rate and you can use these as you would any normal card.
