The first recommendation that I would give you about buying used caravans is this: inspect it first. Do it yourself, or pay someone knoweledgable to do it, but make sure it is done. Make sure that you know what it is that you are buying — and what condition it is in. And the only way that you’ll know that is if you take a good look. Inspect the inside, the outside, underneath and on top. Inspect all the appliances — A/C, fridge, stove and furnace. Inspect the plumbing, the gas lines, the windows, the floors and doors. Inspect everthing, and don’t agree to the sale until you have looked under every nook and cranny. Do that and you’ll have nothing to fear.
