There probably is no cuter little dog than a terrier. They were originally bred as working dogs but they are tough and have a generally happy disposition.
There are a lot of different terrier breeds withing the overall terrier family and they range in size from the tiny little Yorkshire terrier to the fairly large and powerful Airdale. Most terrier dogs have a tough wiry coat and several are as happy in water or bad weather as in a warm climate. Pick the right terrier puppy and you will have a superb companion and be very happy as a terrier owner.
