I had a great big list of absinthe quotes in my notebook (a moleskine, mind you, I have taste) and I swear to the great pumpkin above that someone lifted it from my bag on the night bus. I know I wasn’t exactly sober, but there’s this bar in kensington that started serving absinthe and you wouldn’t believe how amazing the selection was. I’ve been places that serve that eastern stuff that they light on fire, but it’s nothing compared to the stuff I was having. So even though I thought I was alone on the bus, I’m sure that there may have been a green fairy pickpocket sitting next to me. Or at least that’s what I’m going to tell my friends.
