The summer before my senior year in high school I got a temporary job working as a receptionist’s assistant for our family doctor. By the end of the summer I was being encouraged to finish high school and then go into a nurses program after graduation. That turned out to be just the beginning and now I am upgrading my license to an RN by taking courses in an Accredited Accelerated Bsn online program. If I want I can go all the way to a master’s degree in nursing through one of the programs. And it all started with a summer job.
