I have been climbing trees for as long as I can remember.  As a small boy, I began climbing the old apple tree in our backyard.  I spent so much time in that tree, my dad finally built I tree house in it so I would have somewhere to sit.  So it only seemed natural that I chose to become an arborist.  Now I earn a living by climbing trees.  My work includes pruning trees and sometimes cutting down trees damaged by pests, disease, and wind.  Of course this means I have to climb the trees, which requires climbing gear to ensure my safety.  Some of the equipment I use is a rope, special shoes, gaff, saddle, belt, harness, and climbing spikes.  I recommend Buckingham Tree Climbing Spikes, as they are the best quality spikes I have ever used.
