Have you ever wondered why there are so less women in the computer programming field? Men traditionally are believed to do better in the technical field and are more tuned into gadgets and gizmos than women are. Many believe that computer programming needs a background in math and that men tend to do better in math than most women. Women are believed to fare better in life sciences, communication and linguistics. However some do believe that since women have better linguistics skills, they should do better in computer languages as well and that more women should be encouraged to try their hand at programming.
